This year, the CKA celebrates 20 years of growth and success – and the people who made it possible. Board service is one of the toughest volunteer roles of all, and Marie-Claude Leblanc performed this duty with dedication and tenacity, distinguishing herself as a judicious pillar of our organization for many years. Her passion and her charisma made working with her delightful.
A famous activist once said, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.” Marie-Claude has proved to be both wise and virtuous.
Her skill as the chair of the CKA Board of Directors and in other committee work contributed to growing the CKA to a level beyond expectations to help organizations and Kinesiologists progress in their practice – an important step for the advancement of kinesiology. Her knowledge has contributed greatly to the CKA, and we thank her for volunteering so much of her time.
At the recent AGM, Marie-Claude stepped down from the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance Board of Directors for a second time, previously serving as a director, president and past president. We are grateful for her contribution to and belief in the re-launch in 2013, especially after having founded the organization more than 20 years before with many passionate and committed Kinesiologists.
The CKA thanks Marie-Claude for the devotion and passion she brought to the CKA. We would not have been able to accomplish as much without her wise counsel and patient advice while serving on the CKA Board.
We thank her tremendously and wish her the best in her future endeavours.
Sincerely,
The CKA Board of Directors
